GetMyPov - Privacy Policy
Camera usage disclosureWhen the user sets the app to export video streaming (in GetMyPov f / GetMyPov c, in the "Auto", "Net sever" and "Net client" modes when the user enables the "Camera" checkbox or when selects the "Camera server" mode, - in GetMyPov h, when the user selects the "Broadcast" or the "Broadcast II" mode) she or he is asked to allow the app to take pictures and videos (implicitly meaning by the use of the device cameras) .
Upon permission denial, the user is not able to proceed with the transmission of the video streaming, produced with the point of view of the selected local camera, but can use all other features of the app: like receiving, recording and reproducing video streaming coming from another emitting device or sending previously collected frames collections to other device running the app.
If the user allows the camera activity, instead, the app will use, actually only upon the "Start" command, the selected camera to capture video frames, to process them, optionally even for motion detection, and to transmit them as video streaming, only to other devices reachable within the local network or even at some public-IP address over the Internet, sharing the same connection password and listening for the reception of the streaming.
In no case and in no way the app uses the frames picked up from the local camera in a way different from what said above.
So the Licensor of the app in no way acquires the knowledge about the content of the frames composing the streaming or those ones archived by the receiving user.
The camera permissions can be revoked by the user at any moment, entering the settings of the hosting environment and looking up for the installed GetMyPov app, then looking for the permissions section and turning camera permission off. In this case the app stays in the same status preceding the initial allowance - see above - all the features not depending on the local cameras keep being available to the end-user.
The app doesn't collect user's data. The end-users involved in communication activity of the app, inside the local network or through the Internet, are the only responsible parties of the life cycle of the video content they may collect - collected data can be deleted completely at private file system level, such a file system being made completely accessible to the user by the app. Alternatively the de-installation of the app operates the total data deletion.
